Salt, Stone & Solitude explores a range of outdoor sports and the individuals who engage in them, capturing both the energy and tranquillity inherent in their actions. Through the use of direct flash, dynamic motion, and varied angles, this series highlights the contrast between intensity and stillness. Complementing these action shots are isolated studio portraits that reflect the solitude often felt during these pursuits. The project invites viewers to reconnect with nature, emphasising the importance of outdoor activity, not only for enjoyment but also for the significant mental and physical health benefits it can offer.
